Who we are…

We are a creative family of animal lovers based in Benoni, South Africa. We have amassed quite a menagerie of pets over the years, so much so that friends and neighbours refer to our house as “the local zoo”.

For the last couple of years we have been having a lot of fun researching, designing and building fun habitats for our extended family of “critters”. We’ve had so much fun and had such a great response from the local pet stores that we built up a small home business from our hobby.

What we do…

In a nutshell, we design and manufacture 3 dimensional “rock” inserts for spicing up exotic pet habitats. These inserts are placed against the back wall or glass in an aquarium, terrarium or vivarium and held in place with a dab of silicone sealer. Very quick, easy to install, and a whole lot of fun to customise!

Our inserts are manufactured from non-toxic medical grade concrete, silica and all natural additives. We hand paint each insert in a variety of rock colour styles with a non-toxic colour coating.

Design Philosophy…

“We don’t have any plastic pets, so why would we want to buy plastic plants?”

We spend a lot of money on our pets and we want them to be as comfy and happy as possible. Exotic pets, even captive bred, thrive in a habitat that most closely matches their natural wild habitat.

Real pets need a real environment!

We’re not into the mass production game and not interested in flooding the market with cheap and nasty. We’ll happily entertain any suggestions, modifications, customisations and ideas you, as a customer, may have.
